Hi All,
Obviously I have no concrete say in what this subforum is about, but I was thinking the best way to structure would be...
1. Title your threads.
- TALENT NEEDED - <DATE>
In such a thread you can advertise for someone to play at your event/night/house/shed/party and give some basic details. I'd refrain from too much detail encase someone unknowing trys to crash etc.
- TALENT FOR HIRE - <NAME>
In these threads you could post a little bit about who you are and where you are located, but only if you are proactively seeking gigs etc? A soundcloud link and previous dates/experience is a must I would say.
2. Keep an eye on your thread.
- Whoever created the thread should be responsible for it, as such stating when someone has been found for an event, or removing your profile if you no longer wish to be contacted etc.
3. Event promotion
- I think it would also be a great idea to promote any nights you are running, even if you don't have slots to DJ, but only if you are willing to offer something to forum members in return (entry, discount etc) to avoid endless promotion?!
