I just wanted to say this forum has only just been launched and there's some great techy chat going on - nice stuff!

I just wanted to post up a quick one for you all...

Do any of you think there is a time and place for an auto release button on a mastering limiter plug-in?

Do any of you think there is a time and place for an auto release button on a mastering limiter plug-in?

I would have thought a Mastering Engineer would want to adjust the release time themselves based on what they're hearing, but I suppose an auto release will adjust constantly to the incoming audio and may produce better results than just one fixed setting.
